We love working with nonprofit organizations that support the local community, and our project with Continuum of Care (CoC) was no exception. We collaborated on a logo redesign and then incorporated that branding into a website redesign. The result is a site that is easy to use for all the various people who comprise their audience.
The Client
St. Louis Continuum of Care is a partnership that aims to prevent people in the community from becoming homeless and to find ways to end homelessness.
The Challenge
The rebranding effort was the biggest challenge, which we took on in collaboration with another agency. CoC is an organization that provides hope and solutions for those experiencing homelessness, so we needed to strike a balance between the seriousness of the situation but also the potential for positive outcomes for those finding themselves in this situation. This included not just the logo, but the site colors and photography.
The Project
Once the branding was established, the website redesign flowed from there. We considered the key audiences that the website needed to reach, what their typical user journey would be, and designed the site—visually and functionally—around that.
After the designs were approved, we built the site using WordPress, with a few additional plugins for special features like the social feed on the home page.
The Result
An easy-to-use site that can help those in immediate need of finding shelter, as well as other people in the community who would like to get involved. Visit the Continuum of Care website.
